Guest Lounge

Exmoor House Dunster has a large guest lounge making it suitable for groups of friends staying as well as couples.  Relax here with a cup of tea, coffee or wine (BYO) and be on holiday. Plan your day from a selection of information, maps and local books.  Or just relax with magazines, books, or puzzles. A large screen TV with Freeview is also available for your viewing.

Breakfast

We have a bright sunny breakfast room where you can sample an abundance of top quaility produce locally sourced from the area.  Whether your choice is the 'Full Exmoor' breakfast with bacon, sausage and eggs, cooked to order and served straight from our grill or try our famed smoked Exmoor Trout with scrambled eggs.  Our continental breakfast includes local Somerset cheese and the bread and pastries are freshly baked by us as you sleep!. Fresh fruit, Somerset muesli and cereals are available, and you can finish your meal with toast spread with local honey, marmalade or jam.

      

Parking

Exmoor House Bed and Breakfast is situated in the oldest street in Dunster, we offer the following options for car parking which work well for our guests;  Secure parking in the nearby National Trust Car Park with passes obtainable on arrival at Exmoor House; Pay and Display parking 250yds away (free overnight) £3.20 per day; or parking in West Street and around the village subject to availability.  (We have never yet had a guest who has been unable to park)

WIFI

Wifi is available for all guests to use, please ask for Exmoor House password on arrival.

Safety Features

Exmoor House takes your safety seriously. Installed is a fully integrated modern Fire Alarm system, which is tested weekly and inspected annually.  All our electrical appliances are tested annually by a qualified electrician and the accommodation is inspected and officially graded by Visit Britain.

Facilities for Walkers

Walkers are especially welcome at Exmoor House Dunster.  We have drying facilities and can provide pack lunches, maps and information.

Dunster Village

After working up a healthy appetite you will not be disappointed by the wide choice of places to eat and drink in Dunster, from friendly tea rooms, cosy pubs and quality restaurants the choice is yours. These can all be found within walking distance of Exmoor House.

We have a wide selection of speciality shops and galleries, making shopping in Dunster a unique experience.  There is a Post Office in the village, with the nearest ATM Cash Machine being in Minehead.  There you will also find the nearest petrol station.

St Georges Church is a fantastic example of an early Priory Church.  The Church clock plays different tunes daily and the bells ring out often in the village. Services are held every Sunday morning at 11am.
